LIVING MAGAZINE: Take Back The Night

I had the lovely opportunity of participating as a styling assistant for the wonderfully conceptualized fashion editorial for LIVING Magazine. I posted about it in mid December and it has finally been published! (To see the detailed behind-the-scenes post, click here). Also, on the set was the amazing videographer, Chris Frasier who shot a behind-the-scenes short so that you can get the ins and out of the shoot as if you were there right along with us; you can find that video in the link to the magazine as well down below!!! I am so proud to have been a counterpart to such a hard working and prestigious team. As stated before, I met so many wonderful people and I have Juan Lerma (Stylist of The Dragonfly Agency) to thank for that! Thanks and congratulations to such a talented group of Eskimos who braved the blizzard to make this happen! Judging by the photos, you wouldn't know that it was 18 degrees that day! Enjoy!

Late Post | Esé Azénabor Fashion Show Photos

Really late post, but I wanted to share with you the photos from the Ese Azenabor show that I posted about in early November (Read here). I was lead stylist that night with three assistants and 8 models. The couture gowns were beaded to perfection and the red bottoms were floating all over the runway floors. The models got to keep the awesome shoes they walked in; had I found a spare after the show I could have had a pair too. I got to shake the hands of the designer and tell her how much I enjoyed working with her. It Juan's milestone show and I was glad that he thought enough of me to be a lead stylist for his production that night. Anyways, it's always a blast backstage with the models as they frantically change between looks. I love the energy behind working runway. It's honestly a feeling that I can't describe.

Anne Ferrer's Inflatable Trench Flowers

Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot some behind the scenes footage of a photoshoot for the avante garde inflatable creations by the Parisian artist, Anne Ferrer. The beautiful trench flowers were my word of the day, and I'm very grateful to have met such talented individuals. This shoot was very conceptual and resembled that of sculptures brought to life. At the end, we celebrated the idea of having behind-the-scenes footage of such a fun shoot, so I am not only glad that I experienced this, but that I have the opportunity to share it with everyone!!! Be inspired. Always, by everything.
xoxo,
Chelcie
